Disney World is the place of dreams and magic. Disney has made a number of areas where the bronze plaques and walls of memory are part of the decor and the experience of the parks. People leave their mark on this world famous attraction for years.
The first place you’ll find bronze plaques cast in the Magic Kingdom. They are all over the park, greet guests and remind them of the great people who created the parks. If the tunnels of the Main Street station and walk in the park, there is a name plate greets you with “Here you leave today and in the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.”
The most famous of all the plates at Disney World is located at the foot of the famous statue of Walt Disney holding Mickey Mouse’s hand. Cast bronze plaques are also used to welcome guests in every country in the Magic Kingdom, Main Street, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. There is also a unique version of the plates to enter the Magic Kingdom. The ground floor is actually made of tiles with inscriptions on them, or in memory of a loved one or family who often visit the park to celebrate, so the stone path to the Magic Kingdom prepares each time a tour visits.
Something similar was founded in Epcot called “Leaving a Legacy” project. If you park, there are stone pillars engraved plates full of images of people in them a few words together. To think that decades down the line, someone the children could walk to a plate that his father and his mother was a long time and view your images forever etched in Epcot.
